ITZY album release surpassed 1 million copies, the first 4th generation girl group to sell two consecutive million copies.
ITZY has become a million-selling artist for two consecutive years.
ITZY mini-album “CHESHIRE” released on November 30 last year surpassed 1 million copies of the circle chart (formerly Gaon Chart) as of January 12.
With the fifth mini-album “CHECKMATE” released in July last year and the album achieving a series of million sellers, ITZY became the first K-pop fourth-generation girl group to put a number of works on the million seller list.
“CHESHIRE” previously surpassed 633,248 first-time (record sales in a week based on the release date) based on the album aggregation site Hanteo Chart, recording its first half-million seller and its own best performance. The Circle Chart topped the monthly album chart in November 2022 with cumulative shipments of 779,455.
