Invitation to the stadium for victims of the gun incident regardless of whether they take care of their personality after winning
James Harden, 33, has invited a special guest to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals between the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers.
John Hao, a Michigan State University student who survived the school shooting that killed three students in February, watched the game as a guest for Harden.
Hao left the rehabilitation center last week to watch the Philadelphia game. He hugged Harden as he watched the court side from the baseline while the Philadelphia players warmed up. And I went back to the stands with my parents and watched the game. Then he gave Hao unforgettable memories.
Harden scored a winning three-point shot with 18.2 seconds left in extra time with a tie plotter in the game. He scored 42 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Philadelphia to a 116-115 victory and tie the series to two wins and two losses.
After the game, Harden signed the basketball shoes he was wearing and handed them to Hao.
“There was a special guest in the building,” Harden said in interviews with various media. “John Hao is like my lucky charm.” I felt it was my job to give him hope and laughter, and I hoped today was the day he could smile like that.”
Since then, Harden has vowed to invite Hao back through his personal SNS (social network service) and shared the moment he met Hao after the game.
Earlier, Hao was paralyzed from the bottom of his chest in the Michigan shooting.
Upon hearing that Hao was a big fan of himself, Harden contacted him, who was being treated at the hospital, and said, “Everything will be fine. “Cheer up,” he said. “You’ll be fine. I like it when you smile. I know it’s hard right now, but you have to stay physically strong. He encouraged, saying, “We should only think of positive people and continue to fight.”
Harden also donated Hao’s medical expenses and sent him a pair of basketball shoes he wore in the game. And he promised to invite him to the Philadelphia game 안전놀이터
Meanwhile, Hao, who received Harden’s support, expressed his gratitude, saying, “Harden, who heard the news when I was injured, provided all the support we needed.” In response, Harden replied, “I hope to return to normal life and rehabilitation as soon as possible.”
Harden, who brought a calm impression following the victory, will play Game 5 at TD Garden, Boston’s home stadium, on the 10th
